Dubkraft Records

Feeding your woofer since 2006, DubKraft Records tries to be one of the most daring and forward thinking labels dealing with the modern offsprings of dub and bass based EDM. Founded five years ago in Bucharest, Romania, the imprint was first positioned at the boundaries of the newly emerging dubstep music, but grew into a label dedicated to a much wider spectrum of styles and is currently based in Barcelona, Spain.

DubKraft’s motto is “Bass, Spirit, Character” and they like to describe their sound as “a connection between the brain and the heart made through modern technology”. So far the label was featured on some of the biggest media out there: Ministry Of Sound Radio, BBC, Rinse.fm, Sub.fm, FM4, Dubstep.fm, Mixmag, Kmag, etc. The DJ support is also quite impressive: Laurent Garnier, Talvin Singh, Aquasky, Loxy, Blu Mar Ten, Chef, DJ Wonder, Emalkay, Fine Cut Bodies and many more.
In 2007 DubKraft came second in the “Best Digital Release” category of Dubstepforum Awards, right after Ramadanman. Now their count is over 35 digi releases and five vinyls, over 100 artists having contributed to these. 
DubKraft shares artists with many of the biggest imprints in electronica out there: Ministry Of Sound, Global Underground, Hospital, Renegade Hardware, Cocoon, Dub Police, Tectonic, you name it!

In 2011 they’ve just launched a sublabel dedicated to free artistic espression, experimantalism and all forms of contemporary arts – False Flag Operation. 
Also very soon their own online radio will hit the Internet with a really fresh angle on this type of media. So make sure you keep an eye and both ears on DubKraft in the coming years because and you won’t get bored, just nicely surprised and occasionally future-shocked.
