Jessica Audiffred has taken the Mexico dance scene by storm and is showing no signs of stopping! Recently the pioneering DJ has become the official DJ for Hewlett Packard and has had the chance to travel around the city representing the company in many of its events and promotions. Touring in cities such as Edo de Mexico, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Guadalajara, Pachuca, Queretaro, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosì, Campeche, Mérida and more!
Jessica has been recently seen in Boston and the city of Miami representing the genre of electronic music playing in the best spots and conventions, as well as at important festivals such as the Crown Capital, techno shows, film premieres and as well as in the ELECTRONIC GAME SHOW 2012, being the main DJ of this event. She has shared the stage with great artists such as Sandra Collins, Roy Rosenfeld, Stefano Noferini, Kinky, TJR, Sharooz, Luis Junior, Paco Ayala, Toy Selectah, and Autoerotique, among others. Most recently she has also become the Pioneer Dj, Mexico, representing a new facet of the brand. DJ and producer… Energy, explosive and original!
Taylor Scott and Paul Ollinger, known as Mantis, are a relentless duo. Having begun their musical careers with metal & deathcore, the transition to heavy bass music was not so much a step down in intensity, but a slide into a world with spectacular tools to mix dense layers of music in new ways, and deploy it with force. Mantis was formed in early 2011 to test the boundaries of metal-influenced production, and plunge the result into a wash of haunting atmospheres. Mantis wants to provide “music to make you feel like you’re somewhere else, and you’ve never been more stoked to be there.”
With that target in sight, 2011 was a smashing first year; the momentum began in Atlanta, and overflowed with releases on labels such as Play Me, Heavy Artillery, BroTown Records, & Abducted Records. A standard was set with 2011′s “All Worlds”, their first EP, breaking the top 10 on Beatport’s Dubstep releases, and held with 2012′s “Futures” scoring #5 on Beatport’s overall chart. The support of tastemakers such as Liquid Stranger, Downlink, Figure, Cyberoptics, Diesel, Genetix, Persist, & Sluggo, points to an accomplishment of musical influence on an international scale, and the potential for much more.
A history in Atlanta’s metal scene, playing in acts such as WLTP and Attila, provides Mantis’ cornerstone of fierce stage skills. Having become known across the USA for throwing down an aggressive live show with unmatched energy and only the heaviest bass music, Mantis’ reputation stands as being one of the gnarliest new production teams in the scene.

Following up perfectly from their first hit e.p. on MultiKill Recordings entitled “Sink Your Teeth In”, Pretty Ugly aka Timeline and Daytona deliver again with the new self titled single “Pretty Ugly” featuring a melodic yet aggressive presentation of modern bass music.
Founded at the end of 2012 by Patrick (Owner of Low Pass Records) and Conor (i.e. Stereo Company). Their new duo is a collective of years of DJing and Production spanning the likes of Dubstep, DnB, Glitch Hop, Electro, Moombahton, and Hip Hop.
uAnimals entered the bass scene with their bangin’ remix of Sluggo & Helicopter Showdown’s track, “I Want It All”. After its’ success, they’ve since released free remixes of A-Trak, Mark Foster, and Kimbra’s “Warrior” as well as iNexus’ “Rage Quit”.
While such labels as Tuff Love Dubs, and Low Pass Records have signed the duo for official remixes, uAnimals continues to work on originals and a debut EP on the back-end.

RAD SUMMER began back in 2007 as a six week summer tour for djs/producers Curtis Vodka and Flufftronix. Upon a successful completion, operations expanded into a full-blown promotion and booking company ran by Flufftronix and Action Jackson in Bloomington, IN.
Now based in Philly and Indianapolis, RAD SUMMER has become an established name in the Midwest and East-Coast; partnering with brands such as Scion, Mad Decent, Colt 45, PBR, IHEARTCOMIX, Dope Couture, Mishka etc… and booking acts such as Rusko, Benga, Flosstradamus (as performers we’ve also partnered in events for such artists as Soulja Boy, The MisShapes, DJ AM, Steve Aoki, and Girl Talk).
In 2011 Rad Summer expanded to include a full fledged record label, with releases from Flufftronix, Figure, Lemi Vice, RX & Shiftee, and Dave Owen. 2012 finds the label preparing a wide variety of releases including the debut full length from Oreo Jones, a collaboration moombahton EP from Lemi Vice and Knife Fight, a downtempo release from Finnish producer Somepoe, and the return of Black Fabio.
Electronic dance music has gotten too safe. Somebody needs to come in and shake things up before the genre becomes swallowed up in a haze of corporate machinations and twirling glow sticks. Sluggo is the antihero EDM desperately calls for. The Phoenix-based artist, producer, and C.E.O. of Ultragore Recordings makes violent, visceral, and vicious dubstep; embracing everything from heavy metal to first person shooters, he taps into a guttural edge and pulls out dark grooves so staggering you can’t help but move. With knives sharpened and guns blazing, Sluggo stands on the cusp of another electronic revolution.
To create this sound, he’s not drawing from the usual places. He’s quicker to cite Pantera and Killswitch Engage as influences than anything else. “Growing up all I listened to was rock, metal, and rap,” he affirms. “I like the gritty style of bass music. It’s heavy, dark, and evil shit. Those grimy bass lines could be like a raw guitar chug. There’s double bass with the triplets. Whatever I do needs to be gory, ultra-violent, and metal as fuck.”
Sluggo has been honing his skills from a young age. In high school, after visiting one underground party, he started to DJ. From there, he spent countless hours learning synthesis and became one of the early purveyors of the North American dubstep scene along with Excision and Borgore. In 2010, he founded Ultragore Recordings and released his single “I Get Violent” on Beatport.
Since then, he’s had 29 releases and 52 songs come out under the Ultragore banner as well as music from Helicopter Showdown, Liquid Stranger, Torqux, Bare, and many more. He’s also managed to reach the coveted Beatport Top 5 multiple times. Further branching out, he even created an official remix for deathcore stalwarts Iwrestledabearonce. However, his world changed in 2011 with a song entitled “Dark Crystal”.
Sampling the 1982 film of the same name, the track remains emblematic of Sluggo’s distinct alchemy of dubstep and gritty soundscapes. Legendary Korn singer Jonathan Davis heard “Dark Crystal” and instantly became a fan. He contacted Sluggo and invited him on tour with Korn and began collaborating with him on his J Devil project.
“I’ve always been a huge Korn fan, and I feel like ‘Dark Crystal’ was really the beginning of everything for me,” he smiles. “It’s a crazy song, and it’s actually very metal-influenced. The movie made for an epic sample, and music is super grimy and grind-y.”
On the other end of the spectrum, “Get Gorey” takes a cue from the classic game Doom and blasts out a flurry of fiery synths. Then, there’s “Our Wrath” [Featuring Nerd Rage], which engages a pure metallic stomp. Live, these songs can either make audiences move or mosh, and the artist assaults every stage with uncontainable energy.
Ultimately, he’s not going to just blaze through EDM though. “I want diversity,” Sluggo declares. “I want people who listen to heavy music, hip hop, and country to dig my shit. I want them to think, ‘What’s going on there?’ I want them to feel it and have fun. That’s it.” — Rick Florino, May 2012
