Symphonic Distribution’s core service is Distribution. We distribute 1500+ record labels to hundreds of retailers worldwide. How It Works

So what is Distribution anyway? After you sign our agreement and deliver your music, we will deliver your material to iTunes, Beatport, eMusic, Rhapsody, Spotify and hundreds of more retailers around the world. Whenever anyone purchases or “streams” your content, you receive a royalty and based on the agreement you have with us, we retain a percentage to cover the costs of the delivery. Every quarter (approximately 35-45 days after a quarter ends) you receive a Royalty Report and can pay out your artists! Aside of the Distribution, we provide many helpful services for Record Labels and Artists to make the process of distributing their music much more resourceful.

Distribution Packages

Symphonic Distribution offers four distinct distribution options intended to give a potential client a choice that better fits a budget. The options range from giving record labels 70% of royalties all the way up to 100% of royalties off their music (Including Beatport.com). The choice is yours and as soon as you fill out our application you will receive our agreement and can choose the option that better fits you.

In House Systems

Signing up to Symphonic Distribution gives you access to our systems. Our Content Portal allows you to deliver music to whichever partner you would like! That’s right, we give YOU the choice of where to deliver your material to. You can send us releases whenever and wherever there is an internet connection. Our Royalty Portal gives you the ability to check your Weekly Sales, Calculate Artist Payouts, View Quarterly Report Summaries, and more!

Who Is On Symphonic?

Symphonic Distribution has thousands of labels signed from all over the world. Our labels are located in Brazil, Colombia, India, Greece, Australia, United States, and in many other countries around the world. In addition, Symphonic Distribution distributes Electronic Music, Hip Hop, Rock, Country, R&B, Soul, Jazz, and all other genres! We have distributed songs and remixes for Deadmau5, Afrojack, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, One Republic, Tommie Sunshine, Gui Boratto, Datsik, Reid Speed, and many more.

Exclusivity of Distribution

We are a distributor that doesn’t want you to feel that you are tied down. If you have direct agreements, we can either transfer them to our distributor account and/or you can keep them as is and we will distribute to stores that you are not signed with! In addition, you own the rights to your music, you control what music you want out there, and you control when you want it out there!

Customer Service

Often times, we hear that many record labels and artists are disgruntled with other companies and that they are not getting a straight answer and on time. With us, you will get a reply within 24 hours (excluding weekends of course) and we will always set the right expectation. We won’t promise you the world but we will ALWAYS work hard for you and your brand. We won’t turn you down or give you a lame email stating that we are not interested in you. We will instead help guide you to become better and use many of our free offerings to help accomplish this goal.

Beatport (100% of Royalties To Labels)

It is safe to say that we are the ONLY digital distributor out there to NOT take ANY percentage off your sales in Beatport. That’s right, not one dime. IODA, InGrooves, Believe Digital, Iris Distribution and many others that distribute to Beatport cannot say the same. Under our Option 4, everyone can distribute their material for a simple $50 per release fee and receive all royalties earned.

One of the other aspects that makes us unique as a Distributor is that we are a full fledged music business that covers most aspects that record labels and artists are looking for. Education, Audio Services, Marketing, Licensing, Publishing and Technology services are covered under our brand!

Distribution to 100,000 iPhones

What distributor can get you into the hands of over 100,000 iPhones? We can! Symphonic Distribution has developed it’s own iPhone App (MobiSYM). Launched in 2010, the iPhone app has received 100,000 downloads worldwide and each and every release you distribute through our systems will get your music in the hands of these subscribers!

How we compare to Tunecore, CD Baby, and others

Tunecore and CD Baby offer a distribution option similar to our Option 4 option that gives record labels and artists 100% of royalties off all retailers. We greatly respect those brands but we do believe that our options are quite competitive to theirs. For one, we do not charge a maintenance fee per album (as Tunecore charges a $44.95 a year fee per album distributed + an initial delivery fee). In addition, Tunecore and CD Baby DO NOT provide distribution into Beatport and various other retailers (Our Option 4 gives distribution to every retailer no matter what genre they specialize in and we do not take a percentage).
